Liz & Beau Put Their Unique “Stamp” on a Traditional Wedding!
Liz and Beau wanted something a little “different” for their wedding, and that’s our specialty! It all starts with a cool venue, and they chose the industrial chic of The Foundry at Puritan Mill.
With a little Custom Lighting from Amp’d, some classy cafe lights, and floor to ceiling curtains, this space perfectly captured the casual classiness of this couple.
The custom built alter was another beautiful touch, highlighting the beautiful juxtaposition of classical elegance and rustic industrial architecture.
But don’t let these classy touches fool you, this couple came to party! I don’t think I saw them leave the dancefloor once!!!
Liz & Beau were big indie rock fans, but they knew their crowd wanted a little bit of everything. So that’s what we gave ’em! We even dropped a little nod to Liz’s Egyptian heritage. Especially fun was this little ditty that I mashed up towards the end of the night. Not many people know, but the sample from “Big Pimpin'” is from an old Arabic tune, so I dropped the original for Liz’s family. Then we brought in the Jay-Z joint, and then remixed that with the Quad City DJ’s classic, “Ride the Train” and Ginuwin’s “Pony”. Needless to say, it crushed!
We love to put our unique stamp on weddings like this. But this time the wedding put it’s stamp on me!
Congratulations to this amazing couple and we wish you nothing but the best! Thanks for letting us be a part of such an amazing night!!!
